Chief Hospitality Officer

• Colin Dougherty is a real estate investor and hospitality specialist. He is passionate about crafting unique short-term rental experiences for guests to make lasting memories. 

• Colin is from California, where he bought his first short-term rental (a house and cabin) just outside Joshua Tree National Park in 2017.  He has been an Airbnb Superhost for 7 years running, with 700+ 5-star reviews and a 4.97 overall average.  He currently lives near Albany, NY with his lovely partner of 15 years and two wild, young boys.

• The bulk of Colin's career was dedicated to the clean energy transition - driving initiatives in solar, demand response and geothermal. I now try to bring sustainability into hospitality projects wherever possible.

• Rosy Escapes is named after his boys Ro (Rowan) and Sy (Sylvan).  After all, those boys were the impetus to start the company so he could spend more time with them :)
